Product Description
The Ryobi TrimmerPlus Add-On garden cultivator features an 8-spoke design that bites into even the hardest-packed dirt and easily churns it up for next-step ready planting. Other features include adjustable tine widths from 6-to-9-inches, a heavy-duty gearbox, and heat-treated 8-inch steel tines. The Click-Link shaft allows the user to add or take off the attachment in seconds. When you're done, simply detach the cultivator head with a click, hang it on the wall, and move on the next project. The attachment can be used with any Ryobi TrimmerPlus unit, including electric, 2-cycle, or 4-cycle, most Yard-Man and Troy-Bilt attachment capable units. The attachment also fits most other attachment capable units on the market. This cultivator is backed with a 2-year warranty.

Customer Reviews
cultivator/ tiller earth ready
I have used the unit and am pleased with the high speed action saves on the use of the hoe. The unit came preasembled and is a snap to install on the troy bilt trimmer. The unit is a little heavy but needs to be so that it stops some of the bounce on hard ground. I recommend using the unit on loose ground after the garden has been worked up in the spring for planting.
Follow T. Campbell's advice and you won't go wrong.

Works pretty well, when it's not jammed
I'm not an engineer, but I can't help but suspect that there's a better way to design the working end to prevent small stones from wedging themselves inside.
Disreagard the "Borrow one and test drive your soil first" review.
"Seasidewanderer" doesn't even name the Troybuilt cultivator, in the review. the only one named was a Ryobi and then they complain about it. If they want to do that, why don't they review a Ryobi and not Troybuilt.
Does a good job...
It's not the best on really hard ground or clay, but it's good. It will dig up the ground and it works excellent when mixing new dirt/compost in.
